A more natural voice for your AI receptionist
AgentCall's standard voices are fast and clear, and for high-volume support lines that speed is exactly what you want. But some calls deserve a voice with more warmth and personality: a founder's line, a sales agent, a brand-forward receptionist where the first impression is the product. That's what Premium Voice is for.
Premium Voice is powered by ElevenLabs, so your number answers with a noticeably more natural, human voice. It is an opt-in add-on for Pro at $0.59/min, billed only on the numbers where you turn it on. Standard voices stay the default at $0.40/min, so you choose the right voice per number.
What's included
- 12 curated voices. A hand-picked library spanning warm, authoritative, and conversational styles, with both female and male options and a range of accents. Each voice has a click-to-hear sample in the dashboard so you can pick by ear.
- All 13 languages. Premium Voice speaks the same languages as the standard voice (English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Hindi, Arabic, plus auto-detect). Pin a language per number, or let it match the caller.
- Full caller memory. Premium calls feed the same Auditable Call Memory as standard calls. When the same caller dials back, your AI starts with a brief of who they are and what was promised, and every premium call still gets a post-call summary and report.
- Live pre-call context. If you wired a context webhook (today's brief, current priorities), it works on premium calls too. The richer voice does not cost you any of the smarts.
How to turn it on
Premium Voice is self-serve for Pro accounts. No migration, no support ticket:
- Open your dashboard and go to Numbers.
- On a number with inbound AI configured, open its inbound AI settings.
- Find the Premium Voice section, press play on a few voices to hear them, and pick the one that fits.
- That number now answers with the premium voice. Switch it back to a standard voice any time from the same screen.
Turning it on sets the number up automatically behind the scenes. You only pay the $0.59/min premium rate on calls to numbers where Premium Voice is enabled.
Standard or Premium? Pick per number
This isn't all-or-nothing. The two voice tiers live side by side, and you choose per number based on the job:
- Standard voice ($0.40/min) answers in about a second. Great for support queues, order status, high-volume lines where throughput matters most.
- Premium Voice ($0.59/min) trades a little response time for a richer, more brandable voice. Best for founder lines, sales, concierge, and any number where the voice itself is part of the pitch.
Sell honestly: for most receptionist work the speed of the standard voice matters more than the timbre, and for a founder's sales line the voice matters more than a half-second. Put the right one on each number.
